WHO ARE WE?
Our Mission
The Arts Project Inc. diligently encourages Baltimore’s youth to harness their creative abilities while positively influencing their communities. We do this by exposing and granting youth access to arts-integrated curricula, events, mentorship, and cultural trips. We also cultivate safe spaces of creativity, inclusion, and diversity for young creatives to explore.
Our History
Affectionately called TAP Inc., we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to exposing young creatives to artistic alternatives for managing and expressing emotions, building healthy relationships, and strengthening confidence and self-esteem. It is our desire to empower and sow seeds that will lead to long-term success!
In March 2018, we had our first successful event, serving 20 children at our “Create 4 Spring Break”. Our participants were able to dance, learn Fundamentals of Music Theory, create jewelry, and so much more! We had so much fun, we knew that this was the start of something amazing. To date, we have served close to 200 youth via Create 4 Spring Break, launched 5 programmatic initiatives, and made some amazing connections along the way.

Our First "Create 4 Spring Break 2018"
Our dream is to grow into a citywide after-school program and mobile creation station with our resources to host "pop-up shops" for children to create in their communities. For now, we will be hosting events in a church, recreation center, or a studio near you! Make sure you subscribe to our email list to stay in the know of what we have coming up.
